Honours: World champion in 2003 and 2007. European champion in 1997, 2001 and 2005. UEFA Cup Winner in 2005. German league champion in 2004 and 2006. DFB cup winner in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
Miscellaneous: Angerer kept her goal intact for no less than 540 minutes during the FIFA Women’s World Cup China 2007, breaking Walter Zenga’s World Cup record for Italy in 1990 (no goals conceded in 517 minutes). Angerer started to train as an event technician but did not finish the course. She has since retrained as a physiotherapist.
