The Papua New Guinea Football Association’s National Soccer League has received a welcome financial boost with the news that Telikom PNG will sponsor the league for the 2007-08 season. In other news, the NSL Telikom Cup has welcomed two new clubs to the competition, Inspac Rapatona and IFC Madang. Defending champions PRK Souths have undergone a name change and will be known as Hekari United with the club signing Solomon Islands international strikers Jack Samani and Abraham Iniga for the new season.
