wretched amateur footballers of the Solomon Islands 31-2, thus breaking
the previous record score for the tournament of 29-2 which was set by Brazil in their match against hosts Guatemala in 2000. Striker Pula, who is originally from Brazil, scored nine goals, setting another record in the process.
