From Forbes – the richest club

According to a list published by US business and financial magazine “Forbes”, Manchester United were the richest club in the world at the end of 2006, with Forbes valuing the English giants at approximately EUR 1.137 billion. Some way behind, in second and third place respectively, are Real Madrid (EUR 811 million) and Arsenal (EUR 716 million). The richest clubs (at the end of 2006) according to Forbes were:

4. Bayern Munich, Germany (655)
5. AC Milan, Italy (644)
