The USA claimed the 2007 CONCACAF Beach Soccer title after defeating hosts Mexico 5-4 in the last group match at the Fairmont Acapulco Princess Hotel Beach in Acapulco on 11 August. Mexico and the USA had already qualified for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2007 after eliminating El Salvador and Costa Rica on 10 August. The USA not only captured their second consecutive CONCACAF crown but they also defeated CONMEBOL champions Uruguay 4-3 in a friendly match at the conclusion of a CONCACAF tournament at the Fairmont Acapulco Princess Hotel Beach on 12 August. In other matches in Acapulco on 12 August, Argentina defeated Mexico while Venezuela topped Costa Rica 7-5 after extra time.
