Former international referee Jallah Kormah passed away on 29 April. According to the president of the Liberia Football Referees Association (LIFRA), Idrissa Kaba, Kormah died from kidney failure. Kormah joined LIFRA in 1995 and was first included in FUFA’s international list in 2004. His first assignment at international level came in 2005 when he served as an assistant referee in CAF club competition in Nigeria. Jallah was then handed one of the biggest assignments ever for a Liberian referee when he was selected by CAF to officiate at the African U-17 Championship in Banjul, Gambia.
