Mexico’s Pachuca CF will have a chance to defend their CONCACAF Champions’ Cup crown after qualifying for the 2008 tournament by winning the Mexican Torneo de Clausura, defeating Club America 3-2 on aggregate.
After winning the first leg 2-1 at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City on 25 May, the Tuzos held on for a 1-1 draw against the Aguilas in the second leg of the final at the Estadio Hidalgo in Pachuca on 27 May.
