The local organising committee of the 26th
Africa Cup of Nations – which will be held in Ghana in 2008 – will be employing 2,000 volunteers. A programme called “Volu 2008″, reflecting the tournament’s festive spirit, will be appealing to everyone under the age of 18, inside and outside Ghana. The volunteers will be based in the four cities hosting the competition, namely Accra, Kumassi, Sekondi and Tamale.
